/ About

Promoted by the City of Lugano as a concrete contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Development Guidelines and the 2025–2030 Digital Strategy.

L*3
Designed as an open innovation laboratory spread over the entire area of the city, it involves a vast partnership of public and private actors interested in making the local innovation ecosystem grow. This concept is contained in the 'motto' of our Lab: Sharing Innovation.
Our activities range from the creation and development of innovation projects, events and educational content on issues related to digital transformation and active (non-economic) support to concrete projects by citizens and/or partners. The ultimate goal of the laboratory is to promote the improvement of the quality of life, promote economic growth and the competitiveness of the region, focusing on digital transformation and sustainability.

Values

Lugano Living Lab is cross-cutting, collaborative, data-informed and experimental. We face urban challenges in a holistic way, we value the comparison with the local ecosystem, we exploit the potential of the data generated by the city and we believe that experimentation - even with margins of error - is the way to truly innovate.
