Public conference of 30 June 2020 Parco Ciani, Lugano
L*3
- The event is promoted by Lugano Living Lab and is included in the summer schedule of events in the City of Lugano (LongLake Festival).
In the context of the health emergency linked to COVID-19, many efforts have been made by institutions and individuals to contain the spread of the virus. Among these — given the uncertainty about the evolution of the virus and the time needed to create a vaccine — the introduction of digital contact tracing solutions is certainly topical. The use of technological tools to deal with the emergency, however, opens up the debate on the issue of privacy protection. - Lugano Living Lab proposes to deepen the advantages and disadvantages of tracking methods, discussing them with authoritative speakers active in different public and private sectors, who may bring different points of view.
