In the first week of November 2020, more than 150 free events were scheduled online on digitaltag.swiss/it/ and attended all over the country.
More than 20 venues participated: Aarau, Basel, Bern, Bienne, Brig, Grenchen, Lachen, Lausanne, Lugano, Martigny, Neuchâtel, Olten, Schwyz, Sierre, Sion, Solothurn, St. Gallen, St. Moritz, Vaduz, Winterthur, Yverdon, Zermatt and Zurich.

Program

The city of Lugano has participated with several events organized in collaboration with some local partners:
  • Speakers' Corner: give voice to your ideas!
    • A project aimed at promoting the best theses, researches and field projects related to the themes of digitalization and/or technological innovation carried out by Ticino bachelor's and former university students. Speakers' corner is a project promoted by the City of Lugano and L*3 in collaboration with FUS- Franklin University Switzerland, SUPSI- Professional University School of Italian Switzerland, USI- Università della Svizzera Italiana and The ideatory-USI.
The selected students attended the first workshop of the project, on October 5, 2020 at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, where web communication professionals, journalists, media experts and digital entrepreneurs alternated with suggestions and insights. The students then made a video, supported by specialists from the three universities, Lugano Living Lab, The Ideator and the RSI-Radiotelevisione Switzerland.
During the Swiss Digital Days, student videos were made accessible to the federal Digital Days community and to all the public that participated in the online event.
  • TAC: Technology, Environment and Skills.
    • The objective of the project is to promote the development of skills in the collection and interpretation of environmental data and in teaching, with the help of digital technologies. The experimental program aims to bring children and citizens closer in an original and playful way to the use of digital technologies to increase environmental sensitivity and promote the adoption of sustainable and responsible behavior. During the digital days, the video of the workshop attended by citizens and in which the project was presented to the population was made available on the Digital Days platform.
