Description
- Digicities is a project coordinated by ERA-Net that aims to overcome barriers to accessibility and data exchange at the level of energy utilities and municipalities.
 - A data architecture will be developed based on structured and interconnected digital layers that will be used for the projection of energy demand. A framework for processing, storing and using data will be demonstrated within the Lugano Living Lab.
The data structure for energy system planning and its operational management will be implemented through a 'Digital Twin'. - The project consortium is composed of subjects involved in every phase of the value chain. This approach considers the impact of technical advances and regulatory changes to develop a solution that accelerates the energy transition to a zero-impact energy system.
