Description
- MixMyRide is developed as part of a Swiss research project that has the following objectives: to provide a multimodal, app-based MaaS platform that integrates public transport, carpooling and active mobility; to evaluate its effects; to provide guidelines and recommendations to inform future political initiatives for a wider dissemination of the MaaS platform at the national level.
- The platform, co-designed with potential target users from the Lugano region (living lab approach), will avoid a significant number of individual car rides and will increase the current share of public transport in the experimentation areas, while increasing the use of active mobility and carpooling options in the composition of multimodal trips.
- MixMyRide will be tested for a full year in the regions of Lugano, Winterthur and Geneva in 2023 and will be available to all interested users.
